Founded in 1978 in Bursa, Turkey initially to serve the local market, Kaplanlar soon extended its operations nationwide to become one of the leading refrigeration equipment manufacturer of Turkey.

A decade after its foundation, Kaplanlar took an important step by launching its first export sale to European market. After understanding the demanding requirements of the European food retailers for quality, service, sustainability and ethical standards, Kaplanlar realigned its strategy and operations with the aim of becoming a viable supplier in Europe and by 2018 -at its 40th anniversary- had achieved its goal with 65% of its total sales being made to major European supermarket chains.

Following its sturdy strides in Europe, Kaplanlar has been exploring the markets in Americas, Australia, Asia and Africa to be a global supplier fort he food retailer chains as well as individual merchandisers by offering products best fit for the local requirements in each market.
